Method
For kofta's, Mix all the ingredients shown above and keep it aside. For gravy, heat oil in a pan and add bay leaves, cinnamon stick and cloves to it. Add ginger garlic paste and onion paste. To the mix add salt. It helps onion cook fast. Let it cook till it leaves all its moisture and turns to brown color. Then add tomato paste and turmeric powder. Cook till oil starts seperating from mixture. Add coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder and garam masala. Mix well and then to it add a cup of well mixed yogurt. Finally add water and bring it to boil. When the gravy starts boiling, add small balls of the kofta mix. Generally kofta sticks to your hand. Hence, you can wet your hand when dropping each of the kofta balls into the gravy. Simmer it for 20-25 minutes till the gravy starts leaving oil and thickens. Garnish with cilantro. Your tasty chicken kofta curry is all set to be served. Enjoy!!
