Heat 1 table spoon oil in a pan. Add Rai, Jeera and Urad dal. Let Rai and Jeera crackle, add fine chopped onions green chillies, garlic and curry leaves. Stir, let the onions turn pink in color, add haldi, mirchi powder and dhaniya powder. Add chopped bottle gourd and salt, stir well . Close the lid and cook in a low flame for about 5 to 6 mins. After the loki is half cooked add 1\2 cup of milk and cook until it becomes tender and the milk is absorbed.
Take it into a serving bowl and garnish with dhaniya leaves.
Tastes delicious with Rotis, Chapatis and Rice. This is also one of Andhra style of making loki curry which they call as 'Sorakaya Palu Posina Koora'.
